Real estate appraisers are responsible for determining the value of a piece of property. By studying the property itself, the building(s) located on it, its neighborhood, and the relative value of similar properties, real estate appraisers give an estimate of what that property should sell for. The real estate appraiser license requirements have increased recently, but what this has done, it has given those that are interested in this profession more opportunities for a profitable career. With the real estate market improving significantly, there will be a need for more appraisers, which will make this profession more profitable.
