TALLAHASSEE—The Department of Business and Professional Regulation is taking its business directly to customers during the “On the Road 2 Better Business, Part 2” statewide tour. Interim Secretary Charlie Liem will be in Pensacola on Thursday, Feb. 25, for one-on-one meetings with licensees and consumers to discuss streamlining processes and eliminating barriers to business. The meetings will be held at the Chappie James Building/Governmental Center, located at 160 W. Government St., Pensacola, Fla.

“I grew up in Pensacola and know many business owners and professionals in the Northwest Florida area personally,” said Interim Secretary Liem. “I am looking forward to returning to my hometown to make new connections with our customers and gain insight into their perceptions of department processes.”

Licensees and customers are encouraged to schedule a meeting with Interim Secretary Liem between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, by e-mailing communications@dbpr.state.fl.us with a time preference and contact information. Meetings will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-ins are welcome. Information on meeting locations and dates can be found at MyFloridaLicense.com.
