A person is required to obtain a Community Association Managers's License if they are for remuneration:
- managing more than 10 units or
- managing an association with a budget or budgets having an annual budget in excess of $100,000;
- controlling or disbursing funds of a community association
- preparing budgets or other financial documents of a community association
- assisting in the noticing or conduct of community association meetings
- coordinating the maintenance for the residential development and other day to day services involved with the operation of a community association.

- Application must be 18 years of age or older.
- Complete the application to the state. We recommend this because it can take the state 60 days to process the application. Link to state application: APPLICATION
- The application fee of $271.25 includes:
- Application fee - $50 (non-refundable)
- Licensure fee - $100.00
- Unlicensed Activity Fee - $5
- Examination Fee - $73
- Criminal Records Check Fee - $43.25 (non-refundable)
