HOW DOES THESE TWO ON-LINE PROGRAMS WORK?

  1. The Florida Real Estate Brokerage Course is composed of 18 unit/Chapters. The course Florida Essentials of Real Estate Investment is composed of 12 unit/Chapters.  Each unit of these courses has four sections: Reading Assignment, Interactive Exercises, Reading Comprehensive Quiz and a Unit Exam.
  2. Each unit/Chapter has a Reading Assignment.  The course is designed with learning objectives, so as the student goes through the Reading Assignment, the student knows what the objectives are.
  3. Every Reading Comprehension Quiz needs to completed with a score of 100%, Each Unit Exam Quiz is also needed to be completed with a minimum score of 90%.    This is the most important part of the course, because as the student works through these modules it demonstrates mastery of the course.
  4. A student can move on to the next unit without passing the previous one but the student will not be able to access the final exam until everything is completed and passed.
  5. Each course has a timed hour and a half final exam.  The exam is multiple choice with four choices. The student must score a 75% or more on the end-of-course exam.
  6. Each of these courses are totally separate.  Each course has to be passed for thestudent licensee to acquire the necessary completion certificate hours for renewal.

INFORMATION THE STUDENT NEEDS TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING THIS COURSE.
  1. Once the student purchased either of these two courses, the student CAN NOT get a refund.
  2. These two On-Line courses do not require additional textbook support and NO additional course material is needed. Students can order the textbooks as supplemental study material by calling the school at 800/943-9993.  Each of the textbook for each individual course sells for $35 plus sales tax and shipping and handling for each textbook.  You can also purchase the textbook on this website at the Cooke Bookstore .
  3. The only portion of the courses that is timed is the end of course exams. The student has three hours to complete the exam. Students must complete the end-of-course exam in one session.  Students will not be allowed to complete the exam in segments.  A passing grade of 75% is necessary for passing each of the courses.
  4. If the student fails the On-Line end of course exam for either course, the student has to wait more than thirty day or less than one year before the student can retake the end of course exam for that particular course. The student is able to have access to review the course until the student takes the end of course exam again at the 30 plus days waiting period. If the student fails the second time the student will need to retake the On-line course again and the student will need to pay the full tuition fee again for the course the student failed.
  5. These two courses are totally web based. The student can work through the courses at the student's convenience. Once the student signs up for a course it is good for one year.
  6. The courses are NOT designed to be printed for security purposes and copyright regulations.
  7. At the time of registration for the On-Line Distance Learning Course, the student will receive an e-mail from Dearborn's RECampus, verifying the student's registration for each course the student registers for.
  8. Every On-Line student must agree to the following affidavit: "I certify that I personally completed all assignments and have not duplicated any portion of the end-of-course examination". This certification affidavit is incorporated into the course under 'Instructions for the Final Exam'. The student must select 'yes' and click "enter" to take the final exam.
  9. Both On-Line courses can be taken and are available up to a year from the time of registration.
  10. Upon completing each individual course, RECampus posts for Cooke Real Estate School a daily report of student's final grade report.  The staff at Cooke reviews this report daily, Monday through Thursday, and mails the completion certificates to those students who have successfully received a grade of 75% or better.  Allow three to four business days to receive this completion certificate.
